Reiki-Chakras and Depression

In today's fast paced lifestyle, nuclear families environements, over-competitiveness, relationship issues or people staying alone /single/lifetragedies/abuse/drugs/medical problem and working away from their home/families as led to indiviuals to mood issues/sadness/guilt/worthless/Spacy/ Helplessness/emptiness/ depression/ extreme form of psychiatric disorders.

In principle any one facing such or similar symptoms/state should always consult a psychiatrist or a psychologist and seek help either through medicinal treatement or general discussion. However alternative healing and care can also contribute in improving the situations like REIKI.

Any one who has issues or symptoms  related to similar to Depression ( as stated above) typically has root chakra and hara chakra issues. One can try and segregate the issues and relate it each of the chakras-
  • Root chakra issues- Depression, Worthlessness, Sadness, Helpness, Insecurity, Spacy
  • Hara Chakra- Moodiness, Guilt, Unable to enjoy pleasures of life , Self worth
  • Root and Crown chakra- Schizoprenia, serious psychiatric disorders.
  • Heart chakra- Unable to love onself.
How should one heal oneself or others in depression or related states based on experience.

a) For reiki - Heal the Front and Back root chakra, Back hara chakra, front and back heart chakras & if very critical the crown chakra. Heal for 45 days, be very sensitive about the crown chakra.
b) Suggest color therapy yourself -- for root- focus on red colored clothes , hara- orange colored clothes, heart-- green and pink colors.Preferably red and orange below the waist & pink/green above the waist.
c) Try walking, jogging, gym, cooking, Dance etc. basically anything which will give a certain movement, flow or methodical in nature to balance the root chakra
d) Walk around in the nature-- talk to the trees/plants/ hold or hug a specific tree trunk for sometime. Trees are very good healers.
e)  Cook for someone whom you love or express your love to either your parent or anyone.
f)  If you have faced any tragedy/going through a hardship try grounding yourself by grounding exercise.
g) Take more water
h) Eat Orange colored foods-- Orange, juices, carrots, mango, strawberries, honey, nuts.
   Red colored foods- beetroot, eggs, proteins, minerals- pomegranate, potatoes,onions, garlic, pepper, red  meat,
  Green colored foods- basil/tulsi, spinach, cabbage etc. Just make sure the person is not allergic to either of these items.
i)  Homoepathic medicines/ayurveda  also help.

Few Suggested grounding exercise
  • Stomp on the ground as often as you can
  • Take off your shoes and socks, keep your feet wide apart on the floor or mud/ sand/grass Push the your feet on the ground, inhale and push you feet and relax your stomach and knees, while exhaling slowly stretch your body and legs and straighten your legs ( not completely). Keep doing this for a few minutes about 7-8 minutes atleast you will feel a certain vibration in your legs and will help you release the negativity and help in grounding.
  • This sounds very juvenile but its by far most effective- Make a near by tree your friend, water it, hug it every evening and talk your heart out to it ( take off your shoes everytime)
For serious schizoprenic and psychiatric disorders try hypnotherapy, its quite effective. I also suggest calling Archangel Raphael or energy of color green / Krishna/any God and doing angel therapy for complete healing & good health for 45 days.
